Note that these packages have a bug which causes X to die during the upgrade. The upgrade will continue and you can reboot when it is done.
KOffice 2 has received its first update in KOffice 2.0.1. Packages are available for our development Karmic version by installing koffice-kde4. Users of the stable 9.04 can install it from our Kubuntu backports archive.

KDE 4.3 Beta 1 is now available in the Kubuntu Karmic repositories.
KDE 4.2.3 has been released and packages are available for Kubuntu 9.04.
To install it add this line to your software sources.

It is strongly recommended that you verify the integrity of these packages by installing the archive's GPG key. You may do this by saving the PUBLIC KEY BLOCK available from this page to a file and importing it from the authentication tab in KPackageKit's software sources window.
Then refresh and do a full upgrade.
