KDE Framework, Applications and Workspace 4.7.1

Packages for the release of the KDE Software Compilation 4.7.1 are available for Kubuntu 11.04. Packages for oneiric have been available for a while, but the backports for 11.04 took longer than expected, we apologise for the delay. Bugs in packaging should be reported to kubuntu-ppa on Launchpad. Bugs in the software to KDE. Users of 11.04 can install it from the Kubuntu Backports PPA.

Kubuntu 11.10 Beta 2 Released

Kubuntu 11.10 Beta 1 Released

Work towards next month's planned release of Kubuntu 11.10 reached another milestone today with the release of Kubuntu 11.10 Beta 1. The standard Kubuntu KDE Plasma workspaces for desktops and netbooks and associated applications are largely feature complete. More details and download information may be found here.

Kubuntu Oneiric Alpha 3 Released

After a break to package KDE SC 4.7.0, the second alpha release of Kubuntu Oneiric has been released. It features the latest stable release of KDE's Plasma workspace and applications (4.7) and KDEPIM 4.7. It also features an updated Amarok and provides the Muon Software Center and Muon Package manager by default. More details may be found here.

These are beta packages for beta software, expect bugs. Bugs in packaging should be reported against the package on Launchpad, Bugs in the software to KDE.
