Maverick Alpha 3 Out
The third alpha of Maverick Meerkat has been released. This contains a release candidate version of KDE Platform and Plasma 4.5.
Other highlights of Alpha 3 include:
- Dragon continues on as the default video player
- Message Indicator support is enabled by default for Kopete and Quassel
- Qt was updated to the current 4.7 beta release
Packages Available for KDE Platform, Plasma and Applications 4.5.0
Packages for the release of the KDE Software Compilation 4.5.0 are available.

Users of 10.04 LTS can install it from the Kubuntu Backports PPA.
New Amarok Beta
Top music player Amarok has a new beta release out for testing.

Kubuntu and Kubuntu Netbook 10.04.1
Both Kubuntu and Kubuntu Netbook Remix are now updated to 10.04.1. These new ISO images are updated to include all the post-release fixes delivered since Kubuntu and Kubuntu Netbook Remix were released. This release includes updated desktop installation CDs for the i386 and amd64 architectures and an updated ISO image for USB installs for netbooks.
