KDE 4.3.3 has been released.

Users of our new 9.10 release can install it from the Kubuntu Updates PPA.

What's New and Improved Since Kubuntu 9.04

The Karmic Koala brings with it a better integrated and more stable desktop, as well as many new features. There have been updates to many common applications as well as bug fixes to some of those annoyances you may or may not have run into. 9.10 adds a whole new version of Kubuntu especially for Netbooks revealing a user interface more suited to small screens.

KDE 4.3.2 Update Released

The latest KDE update, 4.3.2 is now available.

Users of our latest development release, Karmic, can upgrade to the latest packages.

Users of our stable 9.04 release can install it from the Kubuntu Backports PPA.

KDE 4.2.4 moved from PPA to jaunty-backports

KDE 4.2.4 is now in jaunty-backports and will be removed from the PPA shortly. Even if you have the PPA packages, please upgrade to the versions in jaunty-backports. There are several security fixes included in jaunty-backports that were not in the PPA packages. Backports is not enabled by default, but is included in the standard /etc/apt/sources.list. You may need to enable it. The repository you want to enable looks like: deb-src http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ jaunty-backports main restricted universe multiverse

Kubuntu Karmic Alpha 6

The sixth alpha for Kubuntu Karmic has been released. This release contains some notable changes to the boot system and should be treated with caution. See the release notes for more information and where to download.

KOffice 2.1 Beta 2

KOffice 2.1 Beta 2 packages are now available from the Kubuntu Beta Backports PPA.

Users of our latest development release, Karmic, can install it from the following repository:
