KDE Plasma Workspaces, Applications and Platform 4.9.1

Packages for the release of KDE SC 4.9.1 are available for Kubuntu 12.04 and 12.04.1 LTS releases. You can get them from the Kubuntu Backports PPA. They are also in our 12.10 development release.

Beta 1 of our 12.10 development version is available for download and testing. It comes on larger 1GB images, and features KDE latest Plasma Desktop and Applications plus new application selections like Calligra and KDE Telepathy.

KDE Telepathy 0.4 - Call for Testing

For the release of Kubuntu 12.10 we are thinking about switching to a different instant messaging framework named Telepathy.

With KDE Telepathy 0.4 we now have a viable testing candiate for you to try on your existing 12.04 installation.
