Kubuntu 12.04 to be Supported for 5 Years

The Kubuntu Community is pleased to announce plans for the 12.04 LTS release of Kubuntu. As approved by the Ubuntu Technical Board on January 9th, 12.04 will be a 5-year long-term support cycle for Kubuntu. Please see our Beta 1 announcement for some of the highlights.
12.04 Beta 1 Released

Precise Alpha Released

The alpha release for our development version, codenamed Precise, is available for download. Early testers can try it to provide feedback and bug reports. This is the first alpha for Kubuntu in the Precise series but the second from the Ubuntu family.

KDE Platform, Workspaces and Applications Updates for 11.10 - KDE SC 4.7.4

The previously announced KDE Platform, Workspaces and Applications 4.7.4 updates have completed QA testing and have been released to all users in the oneiric-updates repository. This is the last planned complete update for KDE SC 4.7 packages. Kubuntu developers will continue to address high priority issues with fixes meeting the Ubuntu project Stable Release Update criteria.
Calligra Beta 6 for Testing
